Novaled to equip its new OLED fab Sunic System's deposition systems

As OLED manufacturer Novaled is about to move in new premises in Dresden (during the second half of the year), with plans to largely expands its production capacity by 40%, the company announced it has ordered 3 Million USD worth of OLED deposition systems from Sunic System.

The new equipment will find its place in the new buildings that are currently being built alongside an historic mill that has been refurbished. The new headquarters' office space and R&D plant with research areas, clean rooms of classes ISO5 and ISO7 as well as laboratories have a combined floor area of 6,160 m².

The high-performance OLED deposition systems are expected to significantly accelerate the development, testing and qualification of novel organic materials for high-efficiency, long-life OLEDs, noted the company in a statement.
