The SylSmart smart lighting gives end users greater control over the lit environment, as well as helping enterprises reduce energy costs with simplified implementation, comprising flat-panel and circular LED light modules, an ambient-light and occupation sensor, and a wall switch, all ready to connect using built-in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
Installation is easy with minimal wiring required, commissioning is straightforward through an app-controlled pairing of the components, and the lighting system is quickly ready to use. The end user controls the lights via the SylSmart mobile app, or wall switches, and can create groups of lights, arrange lighting scenarios, and establish turn-on/turn-off and dimming presets based on time of day, ambient light, and occupancy. Adding new lights, switches or sensors to the network is also fast and easy, allowing cost-effective scalability.
The Syl-Lighter LED II SSC is a ceiling-mount recessed circular 21-Watt light unit in an aluminium housing designed for a 205mm-diameter cutout. The Start Flat Panel LED is a non-dimmable 595mm x 595mm square, 40-Watt unit, 10.5mm high, featuring a polycarbonate opal diffuser. Both lamps are cool white, 4000K CCT, with high colour fidelity at 80 CRI, and connect directly to the AC line. Both are featured for full wireless control via the wall switch or SylSmart app.
The SylSmart switch is a white, 2-gang wall switch. Built-in wireless and batteryless technologies simplify installation, giving freedom to position and re-position as required, without the need to add any new wiring. The switch is self-powered through built-in energy-harvesting technology, and is surface or back-box mountable.
The SylSmart Standalone wireless room sensor monitors ambient light and occupancy, and is designed for flush mounting with direct electrical connection to the AC line with no additional controls cabling required. It has occupancy detection range of up to seven metres, and adjustable time delay from 10 seconds to 99 minutes.
